About Me

Hello all and welcome to my page. When I set out to have bariatric surgery, had many questions..

There were so many articles from a physician’s point of view, but not much information from actual patients. I wanted to know what they felt like, what did they struggle with, what they ate, how they lived after bariatric surgery. How did they deal\with excess skin if any.

So,I decided to take matters into my own hands and start to share my experience after weight loss surgery. The good and not so good.

I’m new at this so bear with me as I try to navigate my thoughts, information and a new blog.

Here you will find tips for long term success after bariatric surgery, as well as a community of people to connect with and share the pitfalls and joys of weight loss surgery. We will explore what bariatric surgery can do/has done for us, and how to live our best, healthiest, fittest lives.

I am also living with Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Osteonecrosis, Isthmic Spondylolisthesis , and  Spondylolysis  and I am a fierce advocate for this conditions I may post some info about these as well.

It is my sincerest hope the information you find here helps you on your own journey.

Love,

Deb
